Our day started off with single digit temperatures, but since it was so cold no one was at Wal-Mart and made my weekly grocery shopping a pleasant experience. Malaina and I went to one of her school friend's birthday party. It was so great! The kids had pizza and the adults had an awesome spread of food. I have never been to a kids party where the adults had such great food. The house had a home theater in the basement and all the kids loved it! Marty would have loved it too!
After Sky's nap we headed over to my parents so they could watch the girls. Skylyn didn't cry once for my parents!!! This is huge! Marty and I have noticed a change in Sky's attitude (for the better) so this was icing on the cake. Malaina, of course, was so good. She was tired out from the party and fell asleep on the way home, but before she fell asleep she told us, "My Grandma is my favorite." Skylyn was a chatterbox talking about Papa and Mama.
Marty and I went to Old Navy and snatched up some great deals then headed to Flemings for an awesome dinner. The last two times we have gone out to eat alone it was free so that always makes a meal taste better. This time we had a gift card and no bad service.
That is our day in a nutshell. We are so proud of Sky and hope that she has turned a corner.
