How could I?!

Uncle Matt had an incident with the garage door and was wearing a giant band-aid on his forehead. Malaina goes up to him on Thanksgiving day and in one breath says, "Hi Unlce Matt. You have a band-aid on your forehead." Kids are great. They don't miss anything.

Usually I am the crazy sister out on Black Friday, but this year Brandy topped me. She was up at 4 am shopping and texting me. I didn't make it out the door until 6:45. I am a slacker.

My parents watched the girls today while Marty and I did some shopping and went out to lunch. Marty and I went to a new restaurant called Brio at Crabtree. The best part of it was that since we waited for our food it was free. We didn't say one word. The manager came over and said we had been waiting a long time and that lunch was on them. I couldn't believe it. The food was great and free.

Malaina loved helping Grandma decorate for Christmas. Grandma and Grandpa had to take turns distracting Sky. She does not like to be away from her Mommy. They said she kept looking for me. We will be dropping her off again soon so she can get used to being around other people.

No idea

We have no clue what Sky does in her crib at night, but this is how she wakes up.

Yet more pictures

We had an awesome Thanksgiving. Malaina watched her first ever Macy's Parade (she loved it), we spent the day with family and friends and had some awesome food. Skylyn took a 3-hour nap at Timmie and Matt's. We spent hours telling funny stories about growing up in a small town. The weather was great. We really could not have asked for a better day. Tomorrow we will have leftovers, yummy. Marty ate so much he didn't even eat his nightly cereal.

Oh, thanks April for these pictures. You are awesome.

Shoes with footed pajamas

Skylyn loves shoes. I bought her these ones a while ago, she spotted them and demanded them to be put on over her footed pajamas (luckily the shoes are still too big).

She also loves to name all the people in the keychain picture.

Copying Grace

Gracie likes to lay on top of our couch and the girls have learned from her.

Ketchup

Grandpa Morgan will be proud that Skylyn loves ketchup just as much as he does.

I don't know if Malaina had more fun with the Barbie's or Uncle Matt

Mushu and Ariel

Malaina dresses Mushu, but I was very impressed when she dressed her dolphin (Ariel).

Toast on a stick

Skylyn is pretty good at using a fork (not so much a spoon). She feels the need to put everything on her fork, even toast. As you can see she is pretty proud. She also attempts cheerios.

Before School Pictures

Malaina will only wear dresses. It is going to be cold today and I wanted her to wear pants. I finally convinced her to wear pants under her dress. Malaina let me know she would take them off as soon as she got home from school. Time to look for some stockings.

Is Skylyn becoming a girly girl? She has been wearing this necklace all morning.

Outside Fun

The weather this morning was awesome! The girls had some fun playing outside.

Skylyn drives her car down the driveway at top speed. The car is harder to maneuver than the rover and she ended up in our side neighbor's yard.
