Sweet Baby Giggles

Skylyn kept going on the hardwoods today and lying on them. I am thinking she is part dog and is doing it to keep cool in this unbearable heat. She has the cutest little laugh. I hope you enjoy it Uncle Steve!

Malaina Ballerina

Malaina LOVES ballet! Here are some pictures from her class today. She said, "it wasn't fun without Cassidy," but she seemed to have a pretty good time dancing with her friends.

15 Month Appointment

Skylyn had her 15 month well check appointment today. Hope was there with the boys and offered to take Malaina out to play with the trains. It gave me a chance to have some one on one time with the doctor. Skylyn is a little peanut weighing in at 20 lbs. 12 ozs. (20%). Her height is 30.25 inches (45%) and of course her head is in the 75%. She did have a small ear infection so she will be on antibiotics and we are taking her to an ENT on Friday to make sure everything is all cleared up. Dr. Jeffers also said she is working on her bottom teeth. It will be sad to not see her two little teeth all alone on the bottom anymore. Here are some pictures of her cute, two bottom teeth...

I was trying to get a video of Sky, but Malaina wanted the air time. I will try to get one of Sky when Malaina is not around to steal all the camera time.

Last, but not least

Here are some group shots. We had such a great time. Sara and Todd were great hosts, the kids played great together, and we had lots of yummy food. Who could ask for more? Todd may have asked for less estrogen in the house, but he handled it well.

Smores

Todd and Katerina collected sticks and made us a nice fire for our smores, but we were too involved with making paper dolls that by the time we got upstairs it was pouring and there was no fire left. We could not disappoint the girls so we used the microwave. I don't think they cared how they got the smores as long as they got them. Oh, and me too!

Katerina and Malaina became fast friends. It was so cute how Katerina would follow Malaina around and do whatever Malaina did, which included wearing clothes that were much too small for them. Malaina also taught Katerina to wear pajamas during the day, wear dresses in layers and to strip down to your undies and pretend to be Mowgli. Hopefully next year Malaina can teach her some better habits.
