Onesies
While I was in NY my Aunt and Uncle talked me into getting a heat press. Here are some of the onesies that I designed. I had a panic moment when I couldn't lift the top up and thought the house was going to burn down. Marty will adjust the tension tonight so I can make shirts and feel at ease.

Skylyn being Skylyn
TT watched the girls and I can always count on a few good stories. Skylyn put her crocs on by herself, right feet, wrong toes. It is always interesting when Sky puts her shoes on.
Here is Skylyn at Kohl's (I got some awesome deals on kids clothes!!!). She started out in a cart with Maddie pushing her and Malaina. She then got out of the cart and was walking apparently that wasn't good enough so she found a butlers cart to push around the store. It was hard to steer and then the back wheel fell off. We were laughing hysterically because Skylyn said, "Broke. Okay?! Right?!" We put it back together and with some convincing she left it. Next stop...shoes. TT and Maddie took the girls and when I met up with them Skylyn was pulling around a piece of luggage, again, she was not good at steering it. She took off her crocs and started wearing a pair of size 11 shoes (she is a 6). She would not take them off. So here she is with her luggage and her size 11 Princess light up shoes. It is always an adventure with Skylyn. She did give us lots of good laughs tonight though.
She later ditched the suitcase and moved onto backpacks. Backpacks is plural because she was carrying around two of them. She did not like giving up the Princess shoes. It was hilarious to see her running with these huge shoes and luggage.

I was going to just take a picture of Malaina because her hair looked so cute then Skylyn came running over to get in the picture. I snapped away because who knows when they will ever hug again.

Busy Weekend
We got home Wednesday afternoon and have been non-stop since. The girls did great in NY and in the car. They have both been a little off since we got home, but hopefully they will get back on track soon. Marty goes back to work tomorrow :( It has been so great having him home. I have been able to be productive with my sewing while he has been home. Here are some of my projects...

To celebrate our 7-year anniversary my parents watched the girls. We went to a sub shop (very romantic, haha) then walked around Brier Creek. It was so nice to walk around just the two of us. The weather was great and we ended up getting ice cream too! Maina and Papa got the girls some new croc flip flops while they were in Florida. Skylyn LOVES hers and has barely taken them off since she got them.
