New PINK Blanket

Malaina told me, "Santa didn't get me what was on my list." I aked her what she meant and she told me, "I really wanted a pink blanket." I went out today and got her a pink blanket. I have never seen a girl so happy to have a pink blanket on her bed. She wanted to take a nap right away. I also took the bedrails off of her bed too! It was a big day!

Gamers

Malaina and Daddy playing the Disney Princess Wii game. I think Sky will be playing in no time. She is only interested in the television when someone is playing a video game. Marty will be happy to have someone to play the PS3 with.

9:30 p.m.

Malaina went to bed with the lamp off, but this is how I found her sleeping at 9:30. I turned it off, but when Marty got her this morning the lamp was back on. She loves having a lamp in her room. She wants to read her bedtime book in her bed now instead of downstairs so she can read by the light of her lamp.

Malaina with her new unicorn that Sara sent. Malaina opened her presents while Sky was still napping. She wanted Sky to wake up so Sky could open her present. Malaina wanted to open Sky's present so bad. She told me, "If I open it, it will be an accident." We are still waiting on Sky to wake up and there were not any accidents...yet.

Today we got a package from Sara. I totally forgot about the artwork that they did in July. Malaina was so happy to have it and she did not forget doing it. I asked if she remembered doing it and she said, "Yes, I did it in New York."

Christmas Dinner at the Archers

After naps we went to the Archers for dinner. Matt made crab legs, shrimp and beer butt chicken. It was so good. I had three plates and then had dessert. I will not be moving off the couch for the rest of the night.

Skylyn news...

Skylyn mastered the forward roll on Christmas Eve
Skylyn can now say, "No" like a champ. She purses her little lips together. It is so cute.
She has also learned cause and effect...hit Aunt B's shirt and Rudolph lights up. Thanks Aunt B for teaching Sky this lesson!

Her stocking. She patiently waited for Sky to wake up. It helped that she had her doll house and Jasmine to play with.

She opened this ornament and said, "Look Mom, it is just like you wanted."

Excited to get Mulan and later Belle. She pretty much has every princess now.

I always wanted a doll house, now I can play with Malaina's! Malaina plays with her Barbies for hours at a time so this will be used a lot. I love it!
