Malaina's new dress

Malaina and Sky woke up from their naps and were so happy to have packages for them. They each got new dresses. Malaina put hers on right away. I am not sure what she liked more the dress or the card.

Super Cute Dresses

I am trying to get some inventory for when I open my etsy shop in September and here is a preview of some of the stuff that I will be selling.

This is a pillowcase dress. I used fabric instead of ribbon and think it turned out so cute.
I also think this tunic dress turned out so cute!

Weekend work

My Mom came over this weekend to help me follow a new pattern. She is a great teacher and it is nice to spend time with her. I learned a lot in the past two days. I hope I can remember it all!

Lynette gave me the pattern that she made for this bag so I copied it. I was so frustrated trying to get the base on so Mom to the rescue! I started the bag, but she definently finished it. I love the pattern of the bag so while we are at the beach I will be making a matching necklace.

A busy weekend

My Mom came over and helped me with some new patterns. The zippers were a learning experience for both of us. My Mom basically did the bag herself. I plan on making a matching necklace for the bag while we are at the beach.

Sewing

I took a break this weekend from sewing to visit with my Dad and Greg, but now I am back in the swing of things.

Malaina and Sky graduate

Skylyn was so excited to go up and get her awards. She also like clapping for all the other kids and she would do the "tada" with them. She looked like a little stage Mom.
Malaina cracked me up and everyone else in the room. She got up on the podium, got her award then curtsied. It was the cutest thing ever. I wish I got a video, but a picture will have to do. Mr. Alan asked me where she learned that. The only thing I could think of was ballet. I asked her later about it and she told me that she just wanted to do it.

New Onesies

I have been wanting to make something like this for a while, but didn't have the time to figure it out. Yesterday Lynette mentioned a shirt for Ada and it gave me the push that I needed. I am so glad she asked because I love the look of these shirts and it also allows me to be a little more creative with patterns on the onesies.
