$43 in Milk
A laugh for the Archers...
Matt opened our refrigerator and decided he is going to buy stock in milk. I think his exact words were, "you have $43 in milk."
A Lesson for all...
Do not let your child eat a candy bracelet until they are able to tell that all bracelets are not candy. We were fishing crunched up beads out of Skylyn's mouth.

Skylyn wore this hat down over her eyes and was running into walls. Of course, she loved it. She is a little maniac.
The season is always right for wearing bunny ears, especially if it makes your kids laugh.

Gracie gets a bath
The girls love it when Grace gets a bath. I think Grace likes it as well. She shakes the entire time. I am sure that is a good sign.
No couch upstairs to go under so Grace improvised with Sky's crib.
Malaina was so excited that Gracie got to be upstairs. Then she was doubly excited when Gracie laid on the blanket that Malaina laid out for them to share.

And the dog came back...
Tonight at about 5:30 I received a call..."Is this the Morgans?" I hesitated and wearily said, "Yes." Then the lady asked if I lived in St. James because she had my dog. The funny thing is that I didn't even know she was gone, but she traveled about a half mile down the road. I guess she was on to greener pastures, but was stopped in her tracks when a lady in a sedan with two kids almost hit her. The lady asked if I had let her out on purpose. Um yes, I let her out on purpose with our phone number attached to her collar. I could get rid of her most days (actually everyday), but I don't want her to get killed by a car. I am not totally heartless. Malaina found out the pup was missing and told TT, "We have to get her back." Apparently Malaina is Diego the animal rescuer.
Gracie is doing well and is back under the couch.

Smores
Malaina told every person we came in contact with today that we were having smores tonight (we also had an awesome dinner). I ate way too much and had a hard time moving the rest of the night. The girls had so much fun playing outside and just being at Grandma and Grandpa's.
Malaina actually wore pants tonight! This is huge - she usually only wears dresses. She wanted to wear her Sleeping Beauty shirt. She is truly a princess.
Sky's nose is slowly healing. I am sure she will have more scraps and bruises soon though.

What I like about my Costume...
Things Malaina likes about her Aurora/Sleeping Beauty/Briar Rose costume...
"It's a nice night gown"
"It's like comfortable with the glitter on it"
"I really like this dress because it has wife beater things on it"
"I like the hot pink skirt"
"It looks pretty"
"It has my favorite color on there because I like pink"
"This costume is pretty"
"It fits me perfectly"
Malaina told me she wanted Daddy to go Trick-or-Treating with us this year. I asked her where Daddy was last year thinking he was just home handing out candy, but Malaina told me he was at Lowe's and I got to thinking and he was! I was so amazed that she remembered that he went to Lowe's on Halloween last year to order our carpet. Now I am convinced she is a baby genius.

A real life Sleeping Beauty
Aunt "B" bought Malaina her halloween costume and brought it over today. I was perfectly fine with her being a pumpkin again, but Brandy insisted that Malaina needed to be a princess for Halloween (T, you are slipping further and further behind Aunt B. You may want to start working on Sky). Malaina waited by the front window for Aunt B. I had to break the news that B didn't have a hot rod anymore. Malaina asked Brandy about the cosume as soon as she got out of truck, she didn't give the hot rod another thought once she saw her costume, and didn't waste anytime in putting it on. She actually got dressed in Aunt B's truck. She was so excited to be a princess that I let her wear it for her nap. On the way up to bed she told me that Aunt B said she could wear it everyday until Halloween. Looks like we will be getting a lot of use out of it.
